Which symptoms can you consult us about?
The complaints below may have a neurological cause. Through a detailed examination and the necessary tests we look for the underlying cause and decide on a suitable treatment plan together with you.
Forgetfulness and memory problems
Forgetfulness, difficulty with attention and thinking; evaluation of Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia.
Seizures and fainting spells
Epileptic seizures, loss of consciousness and convulsive attacks; evaluation with EEG and treatment follow-up.
Headache and facial pain
Migraine, cluster headache and trigeminal neuralgia; medication and botulinum toxin options.
Tremor and movement disorders
Tremor, Parkinson’s disease, dystonia and involuntary muscle contractions.
Numbness, tingling and weakness
Nerve entrapments, polyneuropathy and muscle diseases; diagnosis with EMG.
Sleep problems
Insomnia, snoring and sleep apnoea, movements during sleep; sleep recordings and CPAP treatment.

Neurologist (Nervous System and Muscle Diseases) and Clinical Neurophysiologist
Prof.Dr. Burhanettin Uludağ
I graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine. After completing my neurology residency at the same faculty, I continued to work in the department as a faculty member.
I have been a full professor since 2005. I am a neurologist with a subspecialty in clinical neurophysiology. My main fields are epilepsy, sleep disorders, EMG, EEG, pain medicine (algology), evoked potentials, neuromodulation, TMS, TPS and tDCS, and my scientific publications focus on these areas.
What to expect at your visit
From your first contact to your treatment plan, the process is simple and clear.
Appointment
You can book an appointment by phone or WhatsApp. Please bring any previous test results, reports and a list of your current medications.
Examination and tests
A detailed neurological examination is performed. If needed, tests such as EMG, EEG and evoked potentials are carried out at the practice.
Treatment plan and follow-up
The findings are explained to you clearly; the treatment plan is made together with you and monitored with regular check-ups.

Neuromodulation treatments
TMS Treatment
rTMS (therapeutic repetitive magnetic brain stimulation)
Treatment can be offered for the following FDA-cleared indications:
-
- OCD (following assessment by a psychiatrist)
- Chronic migraine and acute migraine attacks

What is TPS?
TPS (Transcranial Pulse Stimulation) is a neuromodulation method that delivers low-intensity acoustic pulses to brain tissue. Its effects on neurological diseases and cognitive function continue to be investigated in scientific studies.
When can it be considered?
In neurological practice, TPS may be considered for
- Alzheimer’s disease
- Mild cognitive impairment (MCI)
- Complaints of forgetfulness
- Conditions that require assessment of cognitive performance
following evaluation by a physician.
About TPS treatment
TPS is a non-surgical procedure. Each patient is assessed in light of their clinical condition, neurological examination and existing medical findings. Patients considered suitable receive detailed information about the treatment process.
In evaluating Alzheimer’s disease, forgetfulness and other cognitive problems, the neurological examination, imaging and necessary tests are considered together. Whether TPS is appropriate can only be determined after evaluation by a specialist.

Training simulators for physicians and students
Free, browser-based simulators I developed for colleagues, residents, technicians and medical students training in clinical neurophysiology; no installation required.
EEG Simulator · SimEEG™
A synthetic EEG simulator that generates normal and pathological EEG patterns live from literature-based parameters: 127 scenarios, case quizzes and an HFO laboratory.

Needle EMG Simulator · SimEMG Lite
A needle EMG simulator that generates live signals from a muscle fibre and motor unit model: findings at rest, motor unit potentials, recruitment and case reports.

TMS Simulator · SimTMS™
Its first module, simHotpoint, teaches step by step how to find the motor hotspot in transcranial magnetic stimulation and determine the resting motor threshold (rMT) according to IFCN criteria, with the electric field shown on a SimNIBS head model.
